BCID Board Buzz

The Buckhead Community Improvement District would like to thank David Allman for his dedicated service as board chair for the past 20 years. The Buckhead CID board is grateful for David’s involvement as board chairman and look forward to his continued involvement as a board member. His service has been extraordinary.

Thad Ellis, a senior vice president at Cousins Properties and former Buckhead CID vice-chairman, will be replacing David as the new board chair. We also are excited to announce that Robin Suggs, general manager of Lenox Square Mall, will serve as the board’s new vice chairman. Herbert Ames, vice president of Southeast for EDENS, will continue his role as board treasurer.

Piedmont/Roswell/Habersham Survey Results Are In!

Back in December 2018, Buckhead community members, and those who travel through the Piedmont/Roswell/Habersham triangle, were asked to take a survey about the intersection and share ideas how the Buckhead CID can enhance it.

The results are in and more than 430 respondents took the survey!

The Buckhead CID is taking these results and additional research to create three or more conceptual alternatives for roadway, pedestrian facility and placemaking improvements at the Piedmont/Roswell/Habersham triangle.

A public meeting is tentatively planned for May 2019 where the Buckhead CID will present the conceptual alternatives. There will also be more opportunities for the public to share their ideas through upcoming online surveys.
