Wieuca Road Roundabout

Since 2016, the Buckhead CID and the City of Atlanta have been working together with the public to develop a conceptual design for the Wieuca-Phipps intersection to improve safety, reduce traffic congestion and beautify the public realm. After completing numerous engineering studies, it was ultimately determined that a roundabout is the best alternative. The City of Atlanta will host a public meeting in April to give the community another opportunity to view the concept plan before full design begins. The full design process is expected to take 12 months, and the construction duration will be 12-18 months following the design completion.
