Millions of Consumers Reached During Fall Media Tour
SUDIA's fall media tour covered all nine of our Southeastern states during the month of September, bringing positive dairy messages and dairy recipes to television stations, radio networks and newspapers across the Southeast. SUDIA team members conducted 84 interviews with dairy-packed recipes and promotional messages about the health benefits of dairy, reaching 1.9 million consumers in all of the major media markets in our area.

World School Milk Day Celebrations Make a Splash in the Southeast
The 16th annual World School Milk Day was observed on September 30 in schools all across the globe as a dedication to the nutrient-rich powerhouse, milk. World School Milk Day is celebrated by 40 countries, but was brought into Southeastern schools with the help of your promotion dollars, SUDIA staff and local dairy farmers.

Q&A: Understanding Fuel Up to Play 60
In an ongoing effort to revitalize fluid milk consumption by children across the United States, the dairy checkoff has partnered with the National Football League to improve children's health and move more dairy in schools. Take a moment to learn more about one of the largest youth wellness programs in the country, Fuel Up to Play 60.

National Update: Fluid Milk Revitalization Continues in Grocery Stores
Fluid milk revitalization projects continue with eight partnership companies that have committed to over $500 million in plant renovations, product innovation and marketing. DFA is test marketing a new milk-juice energy drink called Live Real Farms that is being placed in the juice section of the grocery store. Projects with Maryland-Virginia Milk Cooperative, Shamrock Farms and Southeast Milk, Inc., among others, are in progress.

You can share your story and passion for dairy with your community. SUDIA offers free community outreach training, which includes public speaking, tips and tools on how to share your dairy story.
